The Climate and Development Knowledge Network (CDKN), in collaboration with the Okyeame Kwame (OK) Foundation, and Centre for Climate Change and Sustainability Studies (C3SS), University of Ghana, hosted a conversation on Art and Climate Activism as part of the Centre’s Climate Change and Sustainability Seminar Series.

Some of Africa’s leading figures in music, diplomacy and youth activism on International Youth Day, launched the #ActInTime Ghana campaign in Accra City Triangle Park, the first campaign in Africa to use the CLIMATE CLOCK to push government officials to take greater action on the Climate Crisis, to confront the climate crisis at the massive scale required to avert the worst climate impacts.

Okyeame Kwame who was the ambassador for Forestry Commissioner’s ” Red Plus Campaign”, Solidaridad and World Bank ‘s DGM ( Dedicated Grant Mechanism) project which was support indigenous people and local communities in 2018 fought for Climate Change till today. The Ghanaian Veteran and versatile musician Okyeame Kwame, who was named Climate Clock Ambassador for Africa/Ghana, has joined hands with about 100,000 people around the world, to march in Glasgow to demand more action on the climate crisis, organisers have said.
